Carl-Bernhard von Heusinger

Mr. von Heusinger is a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law and a specialist lawyer for tax law. He is also a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate since May 2021.

Mr. von Heusinger studied law at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel. After his First State Examination, he worked as a trainee lawyer in an international audit firm. He was admitted to the bar in Koblenz in 1998 and shortly thereafter became a partner in a firm of lawyers, tax advisors, and auditors. After a few years, Mr. von Heusinger joined one of the leading law firms in Rhineland-Palatinate (Juve). In 2006 he founded the law firm VHM-Anwälte in Koblenz. In 2021, he joined KUNZ, where he strengthens in particular our areas of expertise "Business and Economy", "M&A and Restructuring" "Corporate and Asset Succession" as well as "Taxes and Tax Charges".

The focus of Mr. von Heusinger's consulting activities has always been on providing legal advice to medium-sized companies, shareholders, board members, managing directors, supervisory and advisory boards, and committees of creditors in all matters of commercial and corporate law, tax law, trademark and competition law, and contract law.

Mr. von Heusinger also advises on the sale and acquisition of companies and participations in companies (M&A), on the formation of companies, and on the reorganization of companies and groups.

His practice also includes reorganization and crisis transactions and situations. Mr. von Heusinger also advises on corporate succession decisions.

Furthermore, Mr. von Heusinger advises on all issues relating to tax law and criminal tax law. He also advises medium-sized companies, municipalities and legal entities under public law, as well as associations on all issues relating to European state aid law.

Among the clients are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), international corporations, entrepreneurs, municipalities and legal entities under public law, as well as non-profit associations.

Carl-Bernhard von Heusinger has been a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament since May 2021. He is deputy leader of the parliamentary fraction of Rhineland-Palatinate Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and spokesman for interior and justice.
