Sandra Zavelberg is active in the fields of family law and tax law and represents her clients competently both in the drafting of contracts and in disputes. Since 2002, she has held the title of specialist attorney for family law. Ms. Zavelberg has proven her special theoretical knowledge in the field of tax law by successfully completing the corresponding specialist attorney course.
In family law, Ms. Zavelberg represents clients in cases of separation and divorce and advises them in matters of maintenance and asset distribution. Our clients benefit in particular from the expertise of Ms. Zavelberg, which she has acquired through many years of practice and continuous substantive training.
Due to her expertise in tax law, Ms. Zavelberg has a special focus on family law advice and representation of entrepreneurs, self-employed persons and freelancers with regard to the drafting of tailor-made prenuptial agreements and contractual arrangements as well as in litigious disputes in the event of separation and divorce. It is important for entrepreneurs to protect their business and not to endanger the liquidity of the company. Therefore, contractual arrangements between (future) spouses are urgently recommended, which on the one hand guarantee the protection of the family e.g. against the access of possible creditors to assets and on the other hand ensures the protection of the company in case of separation and divorce against the access of the other spouse. The double qualification of Ms. Zavelberg in family and tax law ensures that risks are reliably eliminated by secure contract arrangements and that the possibilities for tax-optimized arrangements are reliably used.
Our clients also benefit from her double qualification in the case of a company valuation that becomes necessary in the event of separation and divorce. In this context there will be a close cooperation with our corporate law department and our tax consulting cooperation partners.
Beyond family law, Ms. Zavelberg takes over representation in all tax matters in tax law; starting with tax-optimized drafting of contracts, disputes with the tax authorities and representation before the tax courts.
